Having amassed a wealth of material during his introspective period away from music, Kermit found an outlet for his bottled up lyrical elixir in forward-thinking bass-maker EVM128. With an accessible but edgy balearic, somewhat psychedelic hip hop sensibility with real depth and meaning, they unleashed the ‘Blind Arcade Meets Super Weird Substance In The Morphogenetic Field’ mixtape last summer, following it up with an autumn tour.
Encompassing everything the mixtape was about; ‘Give It Away’ speaks of letting go of the negativity in your life, in Kermit’s case, heroin. Three entirely new re-recorded versions of the Blind Arcade favourite featuring the formidable voice of BB.JAMES make up the first official release from the serendipitous, good vibes collective.
